The estate includes its own private lake and is surrounded by dense forest and natural pastures, set into the foothills of the Andes in the wilds of Patagonia. Though the estate lies less than 70 km from Coyhaique, the area is considered a naturalist's heaven, with pumas, Andean foxes, wildcats and mountain hares roaming the surrounding hills, and more than 115 species of birds. There is ample opportunity for trout fishing, deer hunting, as well as fly-fishing for salmon and trout on the River Nirehuao and a number of local lakes.
